AFN NIPÎY is Alexander First Nation’s Nation-led initiative to protect, restore, and reclaim stewardship over its waters and watershed systems. This work addresses the changes to Sandy Lake, local creeks, aquifer's, drainage systems, and water infrastructure, and builds a long-term plan for water protection, access, resiliency, and sovereignty.
